Military Convoys on the Highway

Had you ever experienced being passed by a military convoy while on the highway?  It never ceases to amaze me when I see scores of vehicles made for military service on the open road.  There’s just something about being passed by scores of camouflage vehicles that tends to play a bit with the imagination.  A recent convoy which I happen to pass happened to have a vehicle transport truck which was holding several Hummers.  I am so used to seeing vehicle transport trucks carrying regular automobiles that I was forced to do a double take.  Besides this truck there were also several large troop transports and miscellaneous vehicles.  The convoy when on for quite awhile before it dissipated in regular vehicle traffic commenced once more.
